Adult Programmes
A curated 8-week programme designed for adult learners. Whether you're starting fresh or returning to the violin, this series is tailored to your pace and goals while providing a structured, inspiring path into music. ​

The programme includes a weekly 1:1 private lesson over 8 weeks, ensuring focused guidance, individual attention, and steady progress throughout the course.

A violin is provided for the trial lesson, with rental options available for continued learning.

Week 1 - 4 Foundations & Techniques
Establish a strong foundation with proper posture, bow hold, and violin positioning, while developing intonation and rhythm through simple scales and exercises. You'll also begin learning to read musical notes and notations, building the confidence to connect technique with musical understanding.

Week 5 - 8 Musical Expression & Melody
Transition into expressive playing by exploring phrasing, dynamics, and short melodic pieces. By the end of Week 8, you'll confidently perform a simple tune such as Ode to Joy with both clarity and musicality.

Continuous Learning
After the initial 8 weeks, lessons can be tailored toward your long term-term personal goals. Whether it's mastering more advanced repertoire, preparing for performance, or simply deepening your enjoyment of music. We also incorporate music theory into the journey for those who wish to enrich their artistry further.
Lesson Duration Options
45 or 60 minute private lessons, recommended based on your experience level, learning pace, and personal goals.
Flexible Learning
Rescheduling is available with a minimum of 2 hours notice. Flexible lesson times are offered across weekdays and weekends, including mornings and evenings.
Individual Guidance
Each lesson is tailored to the individual, with focused technical work, musical development, and clear progress milestones.
Performance Pathways
Optional music theory study is available for deeper musical understanding, alongside performance opportunities for students interested in collaborating with other adult learners.
