Jada Kwan
Studio Director
Jada graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in the United Kingdom, where she studied under Lucy Gould, founder of the Gould Piano Trio, one of the UK's most esteemed ensembles. She also participated in masterclasses with internationally acclaimed violinist Rachel Podger, Itzhak Rashkovsky, and Stanislav Pronin.
Her performance experience spans music festivals, orchestras and events across the UK. Notably, she has performed alongside BBC National Orchestra of Wales, renowned cellist Pieter Wispelwey, and collaborated with composer-conductor Matthew Brind.
Jada has extensive experience in music education, having conducted workshops in UK Primary and Secondary schools. She also coaches student orchestras across the region in collaboration with BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
Upon returning to Singapore, she has successfully prepared students for prestigious programs such as the NAFA School of Young Talent, school orchestra auditions, talent shows, ABRSM examinations, helping them achieve their musical goals. Jada’s mentorship has empowered students of all ages to achieve outstanding success and grow in confidence as musicians.
At Jada Violin Studio, Jada employs a structured yet flexible teaching methodology tailored to each violin student's individual strengths and needs. Her approach integrates classical violin techniques, ear training, music theory, and performance practice, ensuring a well-rounded musical education.
Jada also runs a vibrant ensemble program where students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, come together to learn and perform. The ensemble fosters collaboration, builds confidence, and enhances group playing skills, creating a supportive and inspiring environment for all participants.
